A Life Worth Living: Focusing On What Really Matters

“Will this matter a hundred years from now?”

Geri Laing suggests that we as women should ask ourselves the above question to focus our priorities. She shares about what really matters in life. As her nest is emptying, as she faces health challenges and deals with other changes, she stopped to reflect on her life. She offers her reflections with practical teaching about the stuff of everyday life that can often go unaddressed:

  • understanding what true beauty is
  • feeling at peace at the end of the day
  • cherishing the blessing of true friendship
  • knowing what submission is and what it isn’t
  • taming the tongue
  • dealing with bitterness
  • finding victory over worry and anxiety
The book is addressed to Christian women of all ages, offering hope, direction and encouragement to commit and to recommit our lives to the one who died to set us free: Jesus Christ. Geri says, “On the day that we are invited into heaven itself and we hear the words, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant,’ we will know that we have truly lived the one life that is worth living!”
